Even today many horses run wild. Those that make their way to the mountains find themselves in a world all their own. In some ways, horses are like humans. Given their freedom, some are drawn to the heights – some are more comfortable
in the lowlands. The true mountain horse is a different breed, not only in bloodlines but in heart as well. Stamina, power and heart is what it takes to run the high country.
