Each September, Scott returns to Indianapolis for one of his favorite Western art traditions: Quest for the West® at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art.
Scott has participated in the show for more than 15 years, making the annual trip an important part of his calendar and a welcome opportunity to reconnect with collectors, fellow artists, and longtime friends.
Quest for the West brings together leading contemporary artists whose work explores the people, wildlife, landscapes, and stories of the American West. The opening weekend includes opportunities for collectors to meet the artists and purchase newly created work, followed by a public exhibition at the museum.
Over the years, Scott’s trips to Indianapolis have produced plenty of good memories—installing new work, catching up with familiar faces, seeing what other artists have been creating, and enjoying the atmosphere of a museum devoted to Western and Native American art.
This year was no exception. We’ve gathered a few photographs from the most recent Quest weekend, along with some favorites from years past, for a look back at Scott’s long association with the show.
